The AFPRAL, French Association for Allergy Prevention, was founded in 1991 by families of patients, in order to bring together different stakeholders, around a chronic illness, allergy : allergic patients, families or relatives to allergic, health professionals, etc., This is the oldest association of allergic patients ; it is licensed at the national level as the association of users of the health system by the ministry of Health (since 2009). Association law 1901 non-profit, the AFPRAL is composed mainly of volunteers, divided into regional branches. Their goal is to raise awareness of allergic disease and its impact on daily life. They educate and inform a wide public about the issues of public health. Our actions have resulted in many important improvements in the management of this chronic disease. They aim to :
➔ better inform the general public about allergies and the ways to prevent them,
➔ limit the risks and provide a welcome safe,
➔ facilitate the kind welcome and safe for people with allergies and more
specifically children,
➔ recognize the allergy by the public authorities and the industry as a disease
overall to result in a better taking into account of the constraints of day-to-day,
➔ contribute to the improvement of the services rendered to consumers who are allergic.
➔ assist health professionals to better understand the expectations and needs of the
allergic patient, of his parents, of his relatives...

The AFPRAL recommends products and distinguishes companies that improve the daily lives of allergic patients. It publishes a magazine devoted to allergies, ALLERGY to THE MAG. She also offers interventions and training for professionals (health, child care, restaurants...) and the general public on the theme of allergies.
