Endometriosis is a chronic gynecological disease affecting 1 in 10 women. EndoFrance, the first association against endometriosis created in France in 2001, supports women with endometriosis and their families. With the help of its Scientific Committee of world-renowned experts, it organizes conferences and round tables for the general public to inform them about endometriosis.
EndoFrance has been working for more than 10 years with the public authorities for the recognition of the disease. The association has written the chapter on HAS / CNGOF recommendations for the management of endometriosis on the information to be given to patients and has published a book on "misconceptions about endometriosis" with the support of experts of the disease.
EndoFrance is an association under the 1901 law of general interest. Laetitia Milot is her godmother. Thanks to her, 2 years ago, the first 1st endometriosis awareness spot was broadcast on several TV channels including TF1 for 1 week. EndoFrance was also able to finance, thanks to its sponsor, research projects dedicated to endometriosis for € 58,000.
On October 05, 2018, EndoFrance obtains the national approval of the associations of users of the health system issued by the Ministry of Health. As of 31/12/2017, it has 1209 members. 60 volunteers animate the association.
