SOLIBAD, Badminton Sans Frontières

Solibad, Badminton Sans Frontières is a charity run entirely by volunteers (administrative fees almost non-existent), since 2009. We collect funds thanks to the support of the badminton community (stars, world champions, recreational players), France and around the world. All the funds collected are redistributed to our programs (around ten) around the world.

We choose to support programs in a very pragmatic way, with the necessary humility and always relying on associations or individuals present on the ground, to ensure a match with local needs. To date, our programs involve several hundred children.

Some programs are directly related to badminton (Badminton Academy in Brazil in a favela to take children out of their violent environment by resecuring them also, badminton training programs in Indonesia for children living on a dump to help them to provide to their family thanks to badminton, Discovery of badminton for children affected by type I diabetes in France, etc.), or others, which are not related to badminton (financial support of an orphanage in Malaysia, A village struck by AIDS in Uganda ...)

Our approach is still playful, to bring lightness in the programs, but are also particularly rigorous in the financial management of our programs. We are supported by some 20 National Badminton Federations, including the French Federation, 200 clubs in France, and some 50 ambassadors around the world.
